Fountain Rules
The Fountain at Flat Rock’s Community Park was designed to be an area where families can enjoy splashing in the water in the heat of the summer. Our Fountain does not contain a filtration system; however it is chlorinated on a daily basis. Remember that in the hot sun, the chlorine chemicals burn off more rapidly than on a cloudy day.
Rules:

No Animals

No bikes or other foreign objects.

Stay off and away from the sprayer mechanism.

No standing or walking on the brick wall.

No food in the fountain.

No babies wearing diapers. We ask that those children who are not potty trained please wear rubber pants or swimming diapers. (Again this is for the safety of others this fountain is not filtrated)

No person should enter or use the fountain who has open wounds or sores.

No cigarettes or smoking in the fountain

No foul language.
Please keep in mind that this is a family park and we ask you dress appropriately, no foul language or profanity. It is the goal of the Parks and Recreation Department to provide and safe and friendly environment for families and children.
